"Idaho Matters" Interview, Upcoming Readings

John will be a guest on the Boise State Public Radio show, “Idaho Matters” on Tuesday, January 13, at noon. He’ll talk about writing and publishing his new books, Journal of the Plague Years. Listen live on January 13 or check out the podcast later.

John will be reading at the McCall Public Library on Tuesday, January 20, starting at 6:00 p.m. Books will be available for purchase and signing. And on Friday, January 23, John will be welcomed back to the College of Idaho for a talk and reading hosted by the C of I Alumni office, starting at 6:30 p.m. Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are invited to attend this engaging evening celebrating writing, resilience, and the enduring power of story. Jocele from Caldwell’s fabulous Shared Stories Books (another C of I alum!) will be selling books.

Holiday Market in Ketchum

John will be selling and signing copies of his Journal of the Plague Years books at the Holiday Market at the Wood River Museum on Saturday, December 20 from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. Come say hello, enjoy hot cocoa or spiced cider, and browse home-made goodies from other vendors: Pendl’s Pastries, Chocolate Gulch chocolates, felted wool trees and leather bags from Ronni Neumann of Stella Goods, Heather Black’s photos as prints, puzzles and more, cards by Kalie Rose, Jessica Miller’s paintings and holiday items, the Nellie Burns and Moonshine series of books by Julie Weston, and Karl Uri Vintage Sweaters.
