A recorded oral history of John will be presented for the first time at the Stanley Community Library, as part of the Sawtooth Interpretive and Historical Association’s ongoing Oral History Project. The program will also be livestreamed.

In the interview, John shares memories of his family's history in the Wood River and Sawtooth Valleys, his experiences as a Wilderness Ranger, and the changes he's seen during his 70-plus years in the area.
